Ballycastle United Academy U10s pull Coleraine Academy U10s in cup semi

The draw for the semi final of the North West District Youth League was undertaken late this afternoon with Ballycastle Academy pulling Coleraine Academy. A quarter final game remains between Carniny and Ballymoney, the winners playing Oak Athletic, a Derry outfit.

Coleraine will go all out to win the tie as the final will be played at their home turf at Coleraine FCs ground. However, the ‘Castle boys will be preparing hard for this important tie with additional focused training being planned for the squad over the Easter break and beyond by Youth Development Officer and U10s coach Paddy McFetridge and Academy Director Alex Larsen prior to the tie.

Clearly Coleraine are hot favorites to win this one finishing 2nd in the League to Carniny, having played 14 games, winning 12, losing 1, drawing 1.

It’s a tough draw for the boys but you can be assured of one thing, they will give 100%,            and then some.

Bring it on.
